Dr Matthew Stinson is an Australian trained Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.
As an Australian trained specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, caring for women and ensuring their patient centred journey during pregnancy and throughout their life is a passion of mine.
My experience ranges throughout Queensland at various Hospitals including QEII, Mater Mothers, Mackay Base, Gold Coast and Logan Hospital.
I chose the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology because I enjoy the variety and the challenging mix of surgical and medical treatments. I realise that it is a privilege to support women with their health needs throughout their life whether they are starting a family or approaching retirement.
I specialize in high risk and complex pregnancies and hold a special interest in endometriosis. My training in advanced laparoscopic surgery allows me to provide women with options in their surgical intervention that shorten recovery time and are minimally invasive.
I am blessed to have an amazing wife (Bridie) and two beautiful children, Sophie and Parker, who keep me grounded and very busy. Bridie’s career in Allied Health has given me insight into the importance of physiotherapy and dietetics, and how necessary it is that women are supported by a team to tackle the complex nature of their health care.
I now call Toowoomba my home and look forward to continuing to provide the women of this community with health care that suits their needs.
